  1. Arrive 20 minutes early. Use 10 min to review your notes in the car/lobby.
  2. Phone on silent. No, not vibrate — silent.
  3. Firm handshake, eye contact, “Assalamu Alaikum / Good morning” with a smile.
  4. Sit straight, hands visible, lean slightly forward — shows engagement.
  5. Answer in 45–90 seconds. If you talk over 2 minutes, you’re rambling.
  6. Never badmouth a previous employer. Say: “I learned a lot there, now I’m ready for the next challenge in…”
  7. Bring numbers: “Increased sales 35%”, “managed ৳12 lakh budget”, “team of 5”.
